Step 1. Register. This is where you assign yourself a login ID and password. Please jot down your login ID and password and keep them someplace safe but handy, for future reference. You will need your login and password to edit or delete your expertise record.

Step 2. Fill out the Expertise form. Please fill out all the applicable fields. In general, you should type in your information exactly as you would on a paper form. Enter your e-mail address carefully and make sure that it is correct before submitting your information.
Step 3. Click the "Upload..." button at the bottom of the form. This will send your expertise record to your campus research administrator, who will review the record before uploading it into the IRIS Expertise Database. It may take a week or two before your record appears in the expertise database.
